This doesn’t really need a recipe, just a few guidelines for next time I want to knock this out. It’s not traditional but super tasty.
- Make a tasty ham and cheese sandwich in the frypan, not the jaffle maker.
- Don’t be cheap, use good ham, lots of it and a nice vintage cheddar.
- When the sandwich is made, mix up some whole egg mayonnaise with some dijon or yellow American mustard.
- Top the sandwich with the mayonnaise mixture, add some cracked pepper and more cheese.
- grill the sandwich until the top layer of cheese has melted nicely and is bubbly.
- Fry an egg in the original frypan, sunny side up, white cooked but super runny yolk.
- Put the egg ontop of the sandwich.
