Dead easy and so much flavour. Great on burgers, steaks etc
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Large Onion – Red or Brown
- Butter or olive oil for cooking
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
DIRECTIONS
- Slice onion thinly
- Fry onions slowly in a pan with the oil or butter, stirring often. About 10 mins
- Add in the sugar and vinegar, cook for another 30 mins.
- Recipe can be doubled more more easily. The onion will cook down a lot in this time.
