This is an un-tried recipe at the moment. I plan to do this for Christmas day in a few weeks. I will update it after that, all quantities are rough, use your own judgement.
INGREDIENTS
- Spiral Pasta – Cooked as per directions
- Shortcut Bacon, diced and fried until nice colour.
- Jar of good quality pesto
- small about of toasted pine nuts.
- tub of sour cream
- char grilled red capsicums (jar is fine)
- Pinch of chilli flakes
- Coarsely ground pepper and some salt
- Sugar to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Cook up ingredients separately as needed and cool.
- Mix the sour cream with the pesto, ratios are up to you. Season with salt, pepper and chilli powder and sugar. Personal tastes here. Water down a little until a cream consistency.
- Mix everything together.
- Chill and serve.
