- 2.5 cups plain flour (1547 cal)
- 10 g dry yeast
- 1.5 teaspoon caster sugar (24 cal)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons olive oil (366 cal)
- 230 grams warm water
- garlic powder and / or Italian herb mix (optional – add in to dough for flavoured base)
DIRECTIONS
- Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl and add oil and water.
- Mix to a soft dough.
- Knead on a floured surface until soft and pliable.
- Return to the mixing bowl and cover with cling wrap and leave in a warm spot for 30 minutes. The dough should double in size.
- When it has risen, ‘punch’ the dough once to remove air bubbles.
- Remove from bowl and knead gently for 1 minute.
- Roll the dough out to desired size and add favourite toppings.
