Dead easy and so much flavour. Great on burgers, steaks etc

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Large Onion – Red or Brown
  • Butter or olive oil for cooking
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Slice onion thinly
  2. Fry onions slowly in a pan with the oil or butter, stirring often. About 10 mins
  3. Add in the sugar and vinegar, cook for another 30 mins.
  4. Recipe can be doubled more more easily. The onion will cook down a lot in this time.
