This is an un-tried recipe at the moment. I plan to do this for Christmas day in a few weeks. I will update it after that, all quantities are rough, use your own judgement.

INGREDIENTS

  • Spiral Pasta – Cooked as per directions
  • Shortcut Bacon, diced and fried until nice colour.
  • Jar of good quality pesto
  • small about of toasted pine nuts.
  • tub of sour cream
  • char grilled red capsicums (jar is fine)
  • Pinch of chilli flakes
  • Coarsely ground pepper and some salt
  • Sugar to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook up ingredients separately as needed and cool.
  2. Mix the sour cream with the pesto, ratios are up to you. Season with salt, pepper and chilli powder and sugar. Personal tastes here. Water down a little until a cream consistency.
  3. Mix everything together.
  4. Chill and serve.
